The GM was extremely responsive to player questions and actions, making the transition between scenes feel natural and immediate. The pacing and timing were perfect; the tension built gradually, punctuated by moments of pure panic, which really captured the cinematic horror of the Alien franchise. What truly impressed me was how interactive and dynamic the game felt, despite only having two players who even split up at one point. Every decision we made felt weighty and impactful, and we never felt like we were just passively waiting for the plot to happen. The GM handled the small party size flawlessly, making sure both characters were essential to the survival narrative. The use of immersive elements was top-notch. The curated music and atmospheric images were fantastic and genuinely contributed to the dread, making the dark corridors and distant, chilling sounds feel real. Furthermore, the NPC dialogue was perfectly balanced with our player-character interactions. NPCs felt like genuine, complex people, and their input never overshadowed our chance to talk, strategise, or panic out loud. Overall, this GM runs a tight, terrifying, and highly professional game.
