About me
Hello discerning Gamer I started playing tabletop roleplaying games as a teenager, far too long ago. I've had a few vacations but 5e D&D pulled me back into the hobby in a big way in 2017 and I have been full steam ever since. I'm not limited to just D&D though, I love many systems and many worlds. Most of all though I love bringing worlds alive for my players. Give me your backstory and your goals and I will do my best to bring them to life whilst still presenting a cohesive and responsive world filled with challenge. I strongly believe in being collaborative and not antagonistic to my players, as well as keeping the gaming space fun and safe for all players.
GM Style
I am versatile depending on the group. I can run both combat heavy and social/roleplaying heavy games. For the confident players I can run open worlds and let them run free, whilst providing a more guided experience for those that prefer it.

Creativity
Inclusive
Knows the Rules
I really like the approach. A group of people eager to investigate a new game and platform allow for opportunity to stumble and learn what does and doesn't work. Ian was very patient in both the character creation and VTT acclimation approach. In the end we got a great play session that demonstrated the game and the VTT well.
I really enjoyed my session with Ian. He made sure that all players felt comfortable regardless of their experience. He has excellent knowledge of the rules and was able to ensure a smooth running of the game no matter how many questions were thrown at him. He is perfect for FR fans. I would have no reservations recommending him to new and seasoned players alike.
I've been Ians' GM for 20 years and he's always been a fun player with interesting creative twists to a character that make his part of the journey great fun and inclusive to the other players. Now he's GMing me and I get to play! (As most of us GM's know, once you put on the GM hat nobody wants you to give it up!) So now I'm having a ball in Ians game in 5e playing a Rogue. He's very knowledgable with the rules and flexible to allow individual creativity and overall he's fun to play with. You won't regret choosing him to be your GM.
