I'm new to StartPlaying, and I took some time looking around to find a game that would fit my needs. Travis' campaign looked interesting, and his perspective on playing the game drew me in. Theater of the mind and real dice rolling; music to my OG ears! He's been gracious in working around some scheduling issues and is fantastic at communicating outside of session time if there are questions. We've had a couple of sessions now and I love the detail he's put into his worldbuilding and the collaboration he's had with the players in making our characters fit into the world. His homebrew world has some interesting facets that I'm excited to explore. In game, he presents fun, balanced encounters and allows the players to be creative. He handles rules well, offering reminders and opportunities to learn rather than automatically penalizing players if they forget or accidentally overlook some rule detail in the heat of the moment. I'm looking forward to discovering more about his world and glad my Cleric will be part of its early StartPlaying history.
