Olly is an incredible GM that has a very high knowledge of game rules & mechanics and puts in the effort every session to make it fun and engaging.

I've never had to put a 1 star review in before on Start Playing Games, But i did not enjoy the one hour i played in Chris's one shot. In the beginning encounter Chris employed the following effects in the level 12 one shot i played in. No Save No Concentration mind control on PC's that cannot be counter spelled. Numerous high level counter spells in the same round, high enough level to auto-counter with no save. Multiple legendary actions in the same round. In this encounter i was downed and about to die to a lasting Area of Effect damage, the cleric is the only other character besides me who can heal. Chris's boss monster casted Power Word Kill on our cleric to prevent our cleric from healing. We are level 12 the cleric's max HP was below 100. I would not recommend this DM.

Incredibly run combat, with excellent balance even for high level play. Take heed when the nexus says it tests you.
