TavernTeller is one of the best DMs I've had the pleasure of playing with. He's really good at weaving players' backstories into the game, whether it's homebrew or an official WotC campaign. He also does his best to ensure everyone has fun and offers creative storytelling. My character lost her arm in a fight. It was dramatic and unexpected, and in exchange, she got a really cool metal prosthetic with special abilities. Overall, it was so worth it and I loved every minute.
Grim is THE BEST DM I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. Regardless of your experience with DnD, she goes out of her way to make sure her players are having a good time. She helps new players learn the game and offers tips and helpful links to make playing the game easier. She's a roleplayer at heart and really loves DnD. It isn't just a way to make a quick buck. She offers ambiance and variety. Combat is interesting and engaging but is not the sole focus. Her main priority is to tell a good story that she and the players can all enjoy together. She plays fairly and doesn't go out of her way to thwart her players, but at the same time still offers a challenging and rewarding experience. She puts time and effort into studying the material so her games are prepared and run as smoothly as possible and she includes the players' backstories to make the campaign as engaging as possible. Sometimes, she even goes above and beyond and creates really cool visuals for players in order to add to the story and experience. In my opinion, most DMs are not worth the price they ask for. Not only does Grim charge less than most DMs I've seen, but she is worth EVERY PENNY! You will not find anyone better.
