About me

I do run games on both 5e and PF2e. However been leaning more towards PF2e due to the interactions the players are allowed to have.

I am updating my review since there has been a lot of drama between her and the players. My original review was flagged and removed because of some reason or another. So let me clear things up with this one and hopefully it'll be allowed to stay without Kat flagging it. I do think that she is a good DM for 5e games. She seems to know the rules from that setting way more and is still pretty new to PF2e, the game I was playing in. I asked during session zero if it would be allowed if I can be a raven Awaken Animal that does have limited flight. She seemed concerned but allowed it. She didn't seem to be aware or comfortable with the flying rules in PF2e as I think she thought it was going to be op like in 5e. My flight is a one action that goes 15 feet high, can only do it once per round, and if I am in the air then I must land onto the ground. I can still get a reaction attack from the enemies. However, despite the rules being written like that she decided to add in more to the world to make flight pointless. All the buildings are now 70 feet tall, basically 5 to 7 stories high, and the walls are now 40 feet tall, same as gates. This was a bit of an issue because it tells me when I asked during session zero if this would be okay, she should of said no that she isn't comfortable with it. At least I can avoid that ancestry and make something else that she would be comfortable with. With why I left her campaign being known, I do think she does have some favoritism between players. Not saying she'll let someone get away with certain rolls, more like if she doesn't like you then you might find it harder to be successful within her games. She is the GM and she is allowed to do these things in her games. Now it is up to the players if they want that kind of GM that'll change the rules on the spot to make a player less likely to do certain things, like my flying raven. I hope this helps people who are reading the reviews to decide if this is the right GM for you. She wasn't right for me and that is okay, but maybe she will be for you.

There are a lot of GMs here, but so far Wolf is the best when it comes to fun and freedom of characters. He responds very quick, always helps you out outside of game time, and enjoys what others make/roleplay. If you're struggling to find a good GM for games, give him a try.

A good GM that gets tension high while trying to keep everyone happy enough on each game.
