I’m in a campaign run by Christa, and they are absolutely incredible at DMing. Their worldbuilding always draws me in and engages me. Every session the story shifts and changes in unexpected ways. What really sets them apart is how deeply they care about everyone’s characters. They work with you to create a satisfying story for the whole party that heavily involves your character. She takes your backstory, your decisions, and weaves them into the narrative. Things that I have mentioned offhand return in surprising and fun ways! Every moment feels impactful, and like your character genuinely belongs to the world she’s created. You can tell she puts a lot of thought and effort into the world, and it's clear from how engaging each session is. If you are looking for a DM who values storytelling, player agency, and creating a truly memorable story with you, she is absolutely one of the best!!

This was my first time on Start Playing! Anya was so helpful in making sure I was connected and getting me acquainted with how the sessions are carried out. I joined a campaign party late after they already had a few sessions and Anya was wonderful in getting me acclimated and making sure I felt like a part of the world and group.
