So this '5' rating is an actual 5 rating, like many many sessions over a period of time, not a one shot that I kind of enjoyed. This GM is a storyteller. This GM wants their players engaged in the storytelling too. This GM isn't afraid of players who actually want to roleplay either, which is pretty refreshing given the baseline in VTT games at this point. Barbie also REALLY gets what it means to be as broadly inclusive as possible, and has a unique ability to make people comfortable. When you have a chance, get in one of their games!

I feel really lucky to have landed in not one, but 2 of Maus' games. Lots of GMs are smart, lots of GMs try to allow for creativity; not all GMs know the rules very well, and not all GMs do a superlative job of creating safe space. Without any thing else inplied, these are the days we all need to know there's a safe space for our expression. Added to that, taking on the Tolkien-level task of world building isn't for everyone, and again, I feel pretty lucky to be playing in this world with this GM.
