Carl runs a welcoming game that feels custom tailored to every individual player with memorable NPCs, interesting locales and a story that has you in its grips from minute one. An amazing experience that I can only recommend to anyone interested.

Tom is an amazing storyteller, easily setting the mood and being a gently guiding hand rather than railroading us - despite the tight time frame. He even managed to work in personal details of the individual characters in a meaningful way to impact the story, even if they were just made up in session 0! On the technical side, Tom uses great visual aides to enhance the story in the VTT space and clearly has a well calibrated microphone that makes it even easier to be drawn into the story by his voice. Appropriate music is used to great and dramatic effect, underlining and enhancing the narrative, never detracting from it. Tom also manages to give equal attention to his players, easily giving the spotlight to all participants. You never feel not seen. I'm hoping to enjoy many more games with him in the future. Both my (multi-session) Vaesen game as well as a great evening of Alice is Missing were led by him in a professional, calm yet very engaging manner. Sign me up for more games!
