About me

Bio's are always difficult because they have the same feel as when people ask you about yourself in real life and your brain goes "ERROR 404". I have always enjoyed Literature and Storytelling, especially Fantasy in all the myriad forms it can embody. I tend to lean toward the more magical classes and am still a lil rusty at role-playing games but I'm a fast learner. Look forward to adventuring with you :).

Johnny was my first proper foray into the world of D&D and I feel blessed to have been in the presence of a.....Master is not enough to describe the man but for now it will have to do. The Vermilion Isles feels like stepping into a Fantasy Novel one might have found in their School Library. A swashbuckling escapade that feels as though it moves and behaves separate from how you interact with it. All that feels natural with an under current of dedication, blood, sweat, and hopefully not too many tears. Every inch of the world feels like it could swallow you whole if you linger in awe for too long. Johnny goes to great lengths to ensure that you have as much understanding as you need to immerse yourself. He trusts you with full player autonomy and doesn't mind shifting the story for the sake of narrative or even humor. If you are willing to be open and honest with your characters desires and wants, he'll give you the tools to flesh them out. Because to him, your story matters. The groups story matters. I played with my group for almost a Yr and the "Unbreakable Six (7)" will always have a special place in my heart. Their trials and tribulations embedding themselves somewhere in me. If you have the chance, take some Dramamine and step onto the Gangplank that is the Vermilion Isles. You will not regret it.

Alex has done something truly wonderful which is taking the leap of letting people interact and be in communion with a thing that you Love. Taking all of that passion, curiosity, wonder, honor, and molding all of that. Making the active choice to share that with Others. Strangers who with time may become dear friends. Flowery platitudes and flowy language aside; to have a Seat at any of these tables is to be seated at a Seminar of storytelling, of life. The Wizarding World feels alive. Filled to bursting with Characters that are so thoroughly fleshed out you feel you've known them for a time. Mechanics that are made easy to understand with so many customizable options it can be hard to just choose one. Choices that have oomph and weight and can radically change the way in which the World feels. Alex's was my second game I found on Startplaying, and it felt like I had walked into a room full of friends who I hadn't seen in sometime. The wear and tear of life was visible but you do that thing you with people who you love, flowing back into old ways of Being. As if no time had passed at all. ANYWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, play this game with even some of these people and i'm sure you'll understand what I mean by all this.
