Played a tight little horror one-shot and would definitely play again with Darren. He ran the game very smoothly and somehow managed to both give us enough leeway to be creative with our solutions and keep the pace at the same time. I feel we did very well in the end, but also that there were other interesting approaches we could've taken, which is a testament to the replayability of the scenario. Darren is obviously very experienced so you're in good hands in terms of game mechanics and clarifications, and he set up a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed it and especially loved the surprising ending.

Played a fun one-shot. The DM set a quick foundation for the party to be together and moved the game at an efficient pace. It was combat heavy, but allowed for pockets of roleplaying. It was run with competence and confidence. I especially appreciate the friendlies and patience of the DM with me bumbling through Foundry's features.

Always made me feel I could completely trust him to take both my character and the story in exciting and satisfying directions. Games always felt tight, challenging and rewarding both when we rose to those challenges and when we failed. Also has a great knack for delivering some truly cinematic experiences. Goes without saying that mechanically, the games were also on point.
