About me
I love TTRPGs. Partial to roleplay and getting into sticky situations. But who doesn't love an epic battle?? Med student so timing is kind of tough. Only ever played/DM'd 5e, but I really want to explore other systems. Always trying to keep it light.

Lena's great. She's heavy on narrative and roleplaying which happens to be my favourite part of TTRPGs. She's adaptable and very much follows the spirit and vibe of the situation or move rather than fixates on rules and limitations. There's creativity and passion, and it really shows in her games and even the preamble and post-game chats. And she also works to incorporate character backstory and lore into the world such that you play the story as written in whatever book, but also tell the story your want to define your character.
Tom ran an introductory Vaesen game through Alchemy VTT. Everyone else was brand new to Vaesen, and I feel like we had vague ideas of what we were going to experience. Intense and morbid story intertwinned with suspense and growing tension. Great visuals and elloquent narrative in a game meant to keep you moving and pushing forward. I loved it. And if my schedule permits, I'll play in Tom's Vaesen campaign in March. Phenomenal job Tom.
Full disclaimer, I haven't actually played one of his games. But I absolutely will if I get a chance. Jeff has been in our limited interactions an easy going, good humored, and humble individual with an extreme passion for story telling. Beyond that, if you really want to understand the man watch his youtube channel @ItsNKet. Jeff's a hilarious and incredibly thorough world builder. He's proficient in Talespire and unbelievable with world creation. Some of his ideas about world building are so brilliant I rethink my worlds. Seriously, find and watch his video on Aarden (https://youtu.be/WiM2xhEHtL4). He's also got the cadence and voice of a relaxed Jason Sudekis with a cold, which I find approachable and calming. If he ever starts a new Aarden game paid or free or even something else, I will sign up in a heart beat and I wholeheartedly recommend you do the same.
