Scott's enthusiasm is infectious! He sets the scene extremely well, draws you in and at the conclusion of events, both large and small, he hits you with an epic recap to get your right back into gear! He is a fair GM, but he will test your party. Despite that, he is great for beginners as well. He also is makes it very easy to roleplay your PC and allows you to develop your own personality and story based on the actions you take in game and with your PC's background. Engaging GM, Fun NPC's, Monsters fight like monsters, what more can you ask for? Definitely recommended.
Allie is truly an amazing GM. She portrays NPC's extremely well and they all have a different feel, they are not mere afterthoughts. Even though she is running a premade Campaign for the game I'm in with her, it feels like it's totally open world and completely player driven. Your PC's definitely feel important in the game, which if you play TTRPG's you understand that it's not always the case. She allows for creative solutions, no railroading players, interesting and unique NPC voices and personalities, very helpful to newbies and she has a firm grasp of the rules. I really cannot say enough good things about Allie as a GM. Highly, highly recommended if you can get in on one of her games.
My favorite GMs are the type that do not railroad PC's, can improvise and create depth to the NPC's. In our current Thursday night game there is a Minotaur PC, that now owns a bar in Absalom, which is managed by the widow of a con man he accidentally killed. :) That should tell you the type of GM he is. In short, we are having a blast in this campaign and it's because "simply a GM" is more than a simple GM. He obviously takes pride in the campaign he runs and the NPC's he plays, and it makes a world of difference!
