Sean was great-- I joined a Cosmere RPG one-shot that he was running, and we had a mix of people with all levels of RPG experience, as well as all different levels of familiarity with the cosmere universe. Sean seamlessly integrated everyone's interests into a cohesive narrative that kept everyone engaged and involved. I'd be happy to play another game that he runs in the future.
I think Bruno is a great DM if you have the time to invest in the game. For a longer-term campaign, or a one-shot that you have a lot of time to prep for, that would be great. I joined a one-shot and didn't realize that there would be quite such extensive work on the day of the game prior to the session, so I ended up pretty lost and unable to catch up without slowing the party down during a fast-paced session.
I played in a Monster of the Week one-shot run by Sonder and had a great time! I don't believe anyone in the group had any experience with the system prior to that session, and Sonder patiently talked through the rules of the game and character creation without stalling the momentum of the game. The plot had mystery, action, and a tone that matched what each player was going for with their (fairly different) characters, while respecting lines and veils. I'd be happy to join another session.
Ran is an excellent GM-- I've been in multiple one-shots she's run, and I've been consistently impressed. Her games encourage thinking creatively, and players are rewarded for unconventional solutions and compelling role play. If you want a join a session that feels different from your very traditional dungeon crawls, Ran is an excellent option.
