About me

TBH, I'm not sure what to say - my experience with ttrpgs is marginal at best (only 5e homebrew & Cyberpunk Red), but I am open to giving just about anything a shot. I tend to like fantasy and horror the most but, again, I'm open to giving just about anything a chance.

Nate has been a fantastic GM from start to finish - he's been very receptive to working with people to make/integrate & balance homebrew items, character story arcs, and generally facilitating whatever your play style may be. He creates phenomenal voices for his NPCs and is adaptable enough to make allies of enemies (or enemies of allies) in response to the party's actions/interactions. Most importantly of all, is his humanity - he's willing to bend over backwards for his players, and help accommodate them and their circumstances when needed. Sadly, I don't know when I'll be able to play at one of his tables again due to personal reasons, but he has my whole-hearted recommendation for anyone looking; and when things calm down for me I'll definitely be looking for a seat at one of his tables again!

Honestly, I can't praise Mashby enough; I can't explain the how or why of it, but they inspire something in you to get creative with your skillset and application thereof. There really is nothing like having a stroke of genius and letting the idea flow to it's natural conclusion - shitty dice rolls may not let it work out, but the /possibility/... it's invigorating, it's exciting, and encourages players to continue to explore those possibilities. Perhaps following from this point, they're also very receptive to new ideas, both in game and out, and is adept at thinking on their feet to readily adapt to said new ideas. Mashby masterfully creates a living, breathing world that really feels like it's being influenced by the players. Even more to their credit, they're very helpful and accommodating to newer and/or neurodivergent players; and hosts a strong session 0 that makes a very safe and inviting environment for everyone. I can't recommend Mashby enough for both new and experienced players, and can easily see myself becoming a regular of theirs.

Dave is an awesome GM, able to keep everyone on task without being overbearing or negatively impacting player creativity. Very adaptable and has very obviously put in A LOT of work to acquire, create, and improve various props reflecting the player and environment which allows him to focus on more minutiae than is typical. Also pays attention to the characters everyone is RPing, and will address (via NPCs) any discrepencies in a natural manner that really make the world feel alive. Frankly, I wish we were allowed to use more than 3 tags, as Dave easily deserves the vast majority. Without a doubt, whenever I need to scratch that ttrpg itch, Dave's games will be my first choice by a mile.
