I've been playing at Allffo's table for only three sessions but I already know this is going to be a great campaign ! From the start this DM has managed to ease us all not only with the game and setting itself, but also with each others' as a team. With great voices and storytelling, Allffo knows how to create an ambiance and carry out enough tension so that the world and combats feel alive and meaningful. Sure he's got all the amazing effects and visuals you can dream of to immerse yourself (great music too and I do love a good playlist !). But what will make you stick with this DM for one more roll are his qualities as a human being. Allffo is patient, funny and extremely creative. He makes himself available to help you create your backstory, go over suggestions and doesn't shy away from helping new players. He takes care to listen to feedback and give everyone the opportunity to speak and have their time to shine. His overall kindness and benevolence makes the game feels as if playing with good friends. On that part, I almost forget sometimes this is an online session as I grin and laugh so much I could very well be sitting IRL around the table. Simply cannot wait to see what he has in stock for us in our Icewind Dale campaign. You can tell this is working by how much fun he seems to have as a DM as well. His reckless hints and smart use of characters backstories and quests are foreshadowing some adventures of epic proportions ! And I'll roll and spend all my initiative to that !
