About Me

I'm a former NYC English teacher that made a warlock pact with the creature known as FAANG and moved to Austin, TX. My favorite things in the world are my corgis and the owl that currently occupies my front yard tree. As for role-playing, I'm a little rusty as a player, as I've been stuck as a forever-DM since moving here, but I'm seeking out a good group that I vibe well with to be a part of. I like groups that are a good blend of non-combat RP and combat, and prefer use of battle maps. I love being part of inclusive, diverse environments, and love seeing the perspective of different people and how they play. For my experience: I've had a few tabletop products I've written in published, and used to own a LARP in the northeast until I sold the creative intellectual property. I've been playing since 2nd edition D&D and DMing since 3rd, and I've played or DMed SW D6, SW D20, D20 Modern, Firefly Cortex, Mutants & Masterminds, VTM & VTR Tabletop and MET, and many more. I'd say my biggest weakness as a player/DM is that, with so many of those games rattling around in my head, I occasionally confuse rules from older editions with the new ones. I ran D&D on my Twitch channel for some time, so I'm also open to streamed games, and recognize how having an audience changes the experience.
