I play in Cory's Masks of Nyarlathotep Call of Cthulhu campaign, and it is aaaaaaaamazing! • To start, he's great at crafting an engrossing story and integrating player choices. There are always multiple ways / chances to achieve a thing because the story is what matters (and the mechanics support the story). We've had some epic scenes in our campaign so far! • He's been a GM for a long time and has a good grasp on the rules and mechanics and comes up with creative ways to roll for a thing someone wants to do. He's good at explaining the rules and VTT for those less familiar. He's also got a few house rules which I love. • He's a VTT wizard with a bunch of mods and homegrown plugins, so his games have great art, atmospheric music, tons of handouts, etc. • He has an incredible narrative/character voice; it's really immersive! • His table feels safe and welcoming for new comers and women. People who behave poorly are not tolerated. • We always have a lot of fun when we play, whether it's indulging in the dark and creepy horror of the situation or joking and laughing out of character. • He actively solicits anonymous feedback so he can improve and tailor the experience to his gamers.
