There’s two fundamentals that I believe are the key to having a great session; was it entertaining and was I in a safe place? I’m happy to confirm that Grem encompasses these fundamentals and then-soms. My session with him as DM was extremely welcoming, I had never played with the other players before and yet with his guidance, his fascinating world-building and importance of having a safe space for newcomers, I felt like I had been with this group for months. He encourages creativity, welcomes fun and playful commentary, and creates a perfect scene with audio cues and a plethora of visual aids. It speaks volumes when one of the things that gets me excited and motivated is when I know I’m about to have another session with Grem.
