Christopher is overflowing with talent at this job and delivers a highly polished experience. His competence and consistency create trust that is predictably generating quite a following of repeat players. Not only does he have the fundamentals down (system knowledge, enough VTT proficiency to help tech-resistant players, the capacity to spread the limelight around, and cutting off problem players before they hurt the table), but he brings the top shelf stuff. Player actions matter in his immersive world. He tracks achievements that carry over between characters and games. There are glimpses of what is happening so a clever player can put it together before the details coalesce, but the situation is complex enough to engage seasoned gamers. It feels like he is bringing what he loves out of the iconic DnD lore, not subverting it, re-imagining it, or shoehorning in another genre. My favorite quality is how quickly the "session 0" talk is established; it's clear, concise, and safe.

As I am an addict, I need to get my DnD fix from time to time, and SpiritualDM82 delivers. He runs a great hack-and-slash one-shot adventure! By my count, there were 74 actively engaged enemy NPCs in the fight that each acted on their own initiative, and he controlled the pace well enough to keep the game moving smoothly in that absolutely wild, extreme circumstance. He has attracted a real following of some loyal players with whom it is a blast to play at the same table. He kicks adversity down the stairs! Despite repeated interruptions from quarrelling children at his house who absolutely needed an authority figure to step in to bring order and peace to the situation, he did not miss a beat and kept our game going while having yet another plate to keep spinning, and none of them fell before our time ran out. I look forward to when our schedules align for the next one.

Anthony delivers a fun game that brings in the setting lore and hits those iconic challenges and opportunities that make people come back to DnD again and again. His Yuan-Ti menace and hiss, his hidden traps shoot arrows, and his subterranean dungeons have stone walls. If what you're after is not some subversion of the trope or re-invention of the wheel, but the real, swords-and-sorcery DnD game in the setting presented in the source material, you're going to have as much of a blast as I did. We had a new player at the table and a player with decades of experience in dozens of systems, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rather than some ad of consumers screaming down the slide at a water park, Cammi's game is the guttering candle guiding an old man as he slowly lowers himself into a pool of cool water on a humid summer night. It's not a loud and bright concert, but a music box that plays a tune from when your grandmother was young -- wait, wasn't that destroyed in the fire? Success in Cammi's story does not flow from more pluses to your modifiers; genuine depth proceeds from your efforts to bring connection between yourself and the breathing, growing scene. Turning over a rock is not the solution to the puzzle, but a chance for (the threat of?) a glimpse of What Lies Beneath. Cammi brings a magnetic stage presence that is impossible to ignore, huge personal investment, and an energy you just can't find anywhere else.
