I appreciated all the up front help creating a character and his suggestions for my character really helped me flesh out some details. He was open to letting people be creative within the rules, which I appreciate.

I've been playing in one of his campaigns for just under 3 months, and I love it. He lets players be creative (within reason) and gets excited along with us. I love how he sets the scene and tells the story. He handles any curves we throw at him (such as when a player asks what would happen if someone swallowed a bead from a fireball necklace). His table is inclusive and he uses consent forms, which is something that makes me feel safer at a table.

This was my first one shot, and I was not disappointed. He made the game fun, helped me when I was having a technical issue, and I loved the visual board. It felt natural and easy. I'm relatively new to D&D and if I wasn't sure on a rule, he was patient and explained how it worked. I plan to play more with him.
