He’s incredibly dedicated to building and crafting his story sets and maps and guides the players through, into them, in order to immerse everyone. He allows for player creativity but his priority is keeping the pacing of the events and story so everyone can equally enjoy the adventure together. Edit: It's been more than half a year at least since I left this review. Coming to the close of a second campaign under Carlos with a great and cohesive group has been one of the best experiences I've had in tabletop gaming in years. He's taken stock content from WotC and completely modified and added content to make the campaign feel like a full, epic adventure and now that we're coming to the end I can say that I understand the feeling of great epic adventuring tables like Critical Role, Avantris, and others. I'm not going to spoil it, but I will say that he makes an effort to include players, and talk with them about their agency in these crafted worlds. So long as you engage and make it fun for everyone, you won't regret signing up under this DM.

He’s a great DM that helps new players, very patient when it comes to mistakes, keeps you posted so there’s few surprises when it comes to his schedule, and allows for players to be creative granted we’re not trying to flat-out break the rules.
