I have only been able to participate in one shots with this DM, but Light has had some of the most mechanically interesting challenges I've come across while also making room for narrative enjoyment and the occasional player shenanigans. Guaranteed positive experience

Darrian is a great story teller and world builder, but their attention to the human element is what puts them above the rest. They are great at keeping things moving forward positively even when things get difficult. I've seen them turn game halting disagreements into unanimous votes and party cohesion. Truly worth the investment.
