In the time I have spent in JJ's games I have experienced interesting, original stories that respond to both the rich worlds he builds up, and the dynamic characters he allows players to design without restrictions. A great experience that doesn't get muddied by transaction relationships, JJ is a genuine good human who respects his player's time and investment to his games.
I played in a multi-year long campaign ran by Darius. His mixture of professionalism when it came to scheduling and personalism at the table made being a player in his game one of the easiest processes in VTTRPGs I have experienced yet. His desire to keep a fast paced game-time that wasn't overburdened by strict rules adherence was made easier when he would go back in his free time to do the homework to get the rule right in the future. He went above and beyond to make sure player preferences where included in order to craft a world, and game experience desired by the table. A healthy mixture of fun and seriousness can be expected from role-play with Darius. Along with a conscientious amount of thought towards making a world that doesn't succumb to the pitfalls of narrowminded narrative archetypes or preconceptions. Aces storyteller, great teammate, and a good friend.
Sean did an amazing job putting together a fun, informative, and easy to process beginner's game for a system I was familiar with but want hands on experience with. He went above and beyond my expectations by creating a lesson plan type learning environment where what I was expected to take away from at each mechanics example was laid out clearly and gone back over at any point if it needed clarification. More over, the experience was more then just hands on learning with the system, it felt like a series of games I would want to carry over beyond the initial learning process with the system.
