How Sean runs games
Playing an RPG should be deeply collaborative. We're all playing a game together to craft a story that no one could make on their own. Everyone at the table is an author of our story, and everyone has contributions to make. I'm always a fan of the players and characters. (Some folks dig the GM-versus-players model. That's not me.) I use the language of cinema -- cuts, zooms, montages, badass slo-mo moments, etc. -- to help build the narrative and spotlight the characters. Great GMs are also great teachers. I love to seamlessly weave the teaching of a system into the gameplay.
