Have you ever wanted to feel like you're playing through a novel, effecting historical events in epic proportions, while still getting to take part in the smaller things that feel so big when they're happening? Alex is the perfect GM for you. Alex's worlds are expansive and beautiful, and yet still find the beauty in the minutiae of life, allowing the player to focus on the things that matter personally to them. Additionally, Alex's use of VTT and visual aids are HUGE for combat and exploration. With them, each encounter becomes alive and easy to understand, making them dynamic and exciting. As someone who loves roleplay AND combat, but sometimes struggles with staying present due to ADHD, Alex's games are perfect for both connecting with NPCs and PCs through roleplay AND firing off that perfect spell in a clutch moment. In Alex's games, you don't just feel like a player in a game. You feel like a hero. You feel like you're a part of something bigger, and you feel like you matter. Between that, and the safety work he always makes sure is present in every table he runs, I would recommend a game run by Alex every time. (Side note: They're also excellent at running horror in a safe and simultaneously spooky way. Huge recommend for a scary game!)

There are some DMs that, the moment you enter their playspace, you know something magic is about to happen. Josh is one of these DMs. The care he puts, not just into the worlds he creates, but into making sure each character is tied interestingly into the world, leaves you as a player feeling like maybe, in some way, this wordlbuilding was created just for you and your party. Of course, this is because The Govnar's worlds are created in such a way that there is something special for every player. I am honored to have played with Josh, both in one shots, long shots, and longer term campaigns. Side note: Josh is a master MC of music for scenes. I couldn't select more than three tags, but know you're going to be hit with the emotional music RIGHT at the right time to make you cry.
