Gabe is a knowledgeable GM who tells amazing cooperative stories. His style isn't for everyone; he's unafraid to run brutally difficult games, and prefers to keep things moving rather than rewind for rules-fixing. Unforgiving combats are more than made up for, however, by the efforts he puts in to involve players' characters and their stories in the world. The difficulty of the challenges he provides creates opportunity for growth in my characters in ways that wouldn't have occurred without the narrative push provided by dangerous circumstances. My memories of his games are filled with chilling, dramatic moments that I doubt I'll forget for a long time. (He also has the best dragon voice I think I've ever heard.) If you're looking for a memorable story and are willing to risk your character's life for it, Gabe might be the GM for you!
