Sean's games are perfect if you are looking for story driven campaigns with meaningful and challenging combat. I haven't experienced a DM on SPG that personalizes the campaign around PCs backstories to half the degree of Sean, feels more like an IRL game table. I can recommend Sean if you are looking for/accommodating of: -rich and detailed plot -challenging combat/gameplay (mid-op and above) -moderate to heavy intrigue, dialogue and RP -quality, complex NPCs -customized story -customized/homebrewed higher power PCs... -...with higher powered, intelligent (when applicable) enemies... -...and PC deaths -quality "dungeon crawls" -sandbox playstyle -collaborative experience -latitude for creative expression and problem solving -a campaign to put a lot of effort into as a player -not having a guaranteed combat every session -not looking for "murderhobo" gameplay -high highs and low lows, emotional roller coaster and varied pace and intensity

Very professional. Good table management, handled the pace and players well. In level 20 one shots, it's pretty standard that issues regarding mechanics and rulings present themselves, given the number of abilities and newness of the players towards their characters and at a new table. Kevin did an excellent job addressing them each and every time, both in fairness, time of resolution and in addressing the players.

The way Abominable structures and runs his one shots is probably most new player (to DnD or VTTs) friendly experience that I have experienced so far, and there are a lot of amazing and new player friendly DMs running one shots here. He provides ample resources to help players get set up ahead of time, and has a dedicated troubleshooting period at the beginning of the session to work out kinks so they don't derail the session later on. Without going into details, he utilized techniques to help keep the party on track and was able to cater the experience for the party and players. Congenial and supportive. Also has a clean discord server for his games, very organized, unobtrusive unless you want it to be, informative.
