Curse of Strahd is arguably the most famous D&D module, and that's for good reason. It has a great gothic sandbox world, interesting mechanics for the plot (tarot card reading mcguffins!), and rich NPCs. I docked it one star due to the problematic nature of some of the plot/NPCs, which I remove from my games and alter using the She Is The Ancient supplementary module. Vampire Mommy? Hell yeah...
Piper is a fantastic GM! The level of detail that they dove into for our session zero made me completely confident that I will have a wonderful experience in their games! Everything is so fleshed out, with custom maps and lore! Piper worked with us to help create meaningful characters and weave their backstories into the plot of the campaign. I was also brand new to the FATE system, and they were very patient with me while learning! 10/10, I highly recommend them!
Lou is an absolutely incredible DM! He took the time to make sure that everyone in our one-shot tonight had a chance to shine, and helped everyone get the most out of the experience! Every NPC had a unique voice and personality, visuals helped us know where we were in each scene, and he worked so well with everyone's varying levels of experience. His narration skill is next to none, it was as if we were watching a movie in our heads AND he integrated the players' choices and actions so well into the plot. If you're looking for an amazing DM, look no further - you found them! I think an added bonus was that in my experience, particularly with one shots, DMs run the risk of wrapping things up a little too quickly. Louis made an effort to not only wrap up our adventure and give everyone closure, but also give each player a chance to say where their characters were at 6 months later! It really made the experience extra special :)
I had an absolutely amazing time with Johnnie as my GM for our Alice Is Missing game. I was a brand new player for this TTRPG and he was very patient with us all as he explained how to play, and even how to use the new tech interface for the game too. Johnnie worked well with safety tools, and made everyone feel heard at the table. I had such a great time, and will definitely be back for more! THANK YOU JOHNNIE :D
