A magical school full of wonder and useless administrators, just like in all the novels. 🤣 There's a ton of adventure to be had within Strixhaven, even if some of it needs fleshing out. I've been running a Strixhaven campaign for almost three years now, full of diversions and side adventures, and my party keeps on coming back for more! Good module, but best at giving you a foundation to build upon.
This is such a fun game system, and one that really captures the fun and adventure inherent to both Star Trek and tabletop role-playing games. It's different than a lot of popular systems in that you want to roll low, instead of high, in order to succeed, and also gives you plenty of ways to succeed beyond just rolling well. I've run mysteries, swashbuckling adventure, space negotiations (like, literally on the hull of a starship), and tons of fun flights of fancy. I could not recommend the system enough.
Friday is an amazing GM and an amazing fount of information, and the fact that she shares with us the things that have made her a success and takes the time to work with her fellow GMs is something akin to a godsend. If she's this good with us, I can only imagine how good she is with her players!
