Role Playing is collaborative and is at its best when everyone at the table is having fun, and a lot of work is required on the GM’s part in particular to make that happen. Gerald is really good about putting in that work. Efforts to be safe and inclusive, advance inquiries on what sort of content players are seeking, frequent checks with players for notes on what players are enjoying/changes they might want. Bespoke campaigns are tough to construct and harder to maintain without railroads, but Gerald has a mix of effort and flexibility to keep things both fluid and functional. Regarding what sort of players he’d be suited to GM for? I think he could please any group, assuming the players don’t have mutually exclusive desires for their content.
