Initially did a one-shot charity game for Pride but had such a good time that the whole group came back for a second session. Apparently there are two more levels for the dungeon so if those pop up on the right dates, I'll definitely be signing on. Everything was well-planned. Often, one-shots are simple dungeon crawls but in this case there was a good balance with roleplaying opportunities despite the limited time. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more one-shots from him.

This is my second campaign with him, both being in Eberron. He clearly loves and knows the setting which I was less familiar with and even though I also love it, I try not to read Eberron lore because I enjoy experiencing the setting through his games. He's one of the best storytellers I've played with and can tell quite complex story without making the game feel bogged down with lore dumps. Lore is often experienced rather than told. Sessions are a good balance of roleplay and combat and we never really feel stuck.

I've been playing with them for almost 2 years now and it was my first experience playing online. The group that I started out with is still the same group and we're on our third campaign, though they also accommodate us with one-shots from Candlekeep when we have a missing player that week. One of my favorite things about this GM is they really take the time to incorporate our character backgrounds into the main story rather than having it as a side thing, and they're receptive to homebrews. While others have done homebrew classes, I've mostly stuck to published material but the homebrew element for my characters comes in working with us to incorporate our ideas into the setting, like working with me for a custom deity to fit the cleric concept that I had in mind as a deity of rebellion.
