Scott is really great about telling an engaging story and making you feel like you're a part of the world. He can shift gears between shenanigans and serious rp very quickly, and gives space for players to help set the tone of the game. You can tell he puts in a lot of effort to collaborate with players and incorporate their character goals into the story.
