The DM came to sessions unprepared and punished players with meaningless combat for player choices he didn't like. Difficult to work with as a new player in building a character and fixing mistakes I'd made in building him.

I truly enjoy every session with Tom. He keeps the game moving while giving plenty of time for exploration and role play. Combats are fun, constantly changing, and engaging. He frequently checks in with the group to ask how things are going and implements adjustments accordingly. 10/10!

I just finished Lost Mine of Phandelver with Andres. He was fantastic! Great GM for new/beginner players as well as experienced players. Andres always tries to support the players' creativity and works with players to make their vision for their character happen. Highly recommend!

I just finished a year-and-a-half long campaign (Rime of the Frostmaiden) with Chris. It was fantastic! I hadn't played since the early 80s, and Chris brough me up to speed, helped with character creation, and was very welcoming. He runs interesting combats, plays NPCs well (some you love, some you love to hate), provides voices, and really integrates your character's backstory into the game. He's very open listening to what your want the path for your character to go down and helps make that happen. Got a crazy plan? Chris will help you figure out how to make that happen within the bounds of the game...or maybe just outside the bounds. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough, particularly if you're new/unsure.
