Mark is an exceptional Game Master on every level. I could only pick three tags, but he truly excels all areas. He has deep knowledge of the rules and is great at explaining them as well as having sound reasons for any excluded content or house rules. Everything he does is well thought out and optimized for maximum fun and emersion. He is approachable and welcoming, he creates and voices memorable NPCs that you care about, and his knowledge and use of Foundry VTT is impeccable. His knack for pacing might be his strongest trait, however. Every session has story beats that feel natural based on party and character decisions. He has a great feel for when to give the party a little nudge to keep the story going and for when to sit back and allow for interactions between players and allow for character development. Sessions and campaigns build to big, pivotal moments that you can't help but think about during the times between sessions. Treat yourself to an S-Tier Game Master!

Exceptionally knowledgeable about the rules, but builds in a great "rule of cool" system that makes your sessions feel epic and rewards player creativity. Sets an awesome tone for combat and adventure with his use of Foundry and background music. Combat is challenging and rewarding and role play is immersive and fun. Highly recommend!

I am constantly blown away by the depth of story and world building that Josh puts into each session. He is equally adept at keeping the session moving and providing space for player creativity and role play. It feels like he has as much fun running a session and creating a story together as we do playing it. Can't recommend him enough!
