Bryan created an immersive experience that sucks you in and keeps you glued to your screen. With great music, descriptions and character voices I am always anticipating what comes next. Bryan allows for plenty of roleplay between players and NPCs. I am playing and learning Candela Obscura with Bryan and am having a complete blast!
Julia is allowing us to explore our character's downtime as we rebuild a house and create our own businesses. I have never been given the freedom and free time in a game to do this. Our game is so much fun. Julia creates a safe space to role play, explore your character in new directions and brings a solid campaign with great maps.
In all sessions I've played with Terra the music is fantastic. It really sets the tone for the scene. The best example of this is in Spelljammers which has a futuristic and sci-fi feel. It also fills silence and gives players a bit of time to live in the moment and think of what to say or do. Seeing faces of more prominent npcs really helps me remember them and decide how I feel about them quickly. I really appreciate having access to that in the discord so I can scroll through when I need to remember someone. The distinct voices keep things easy to follow when many players and/or npcs are talking together. Also it's silly and that's great. D&D is a hobby for me and having fun is an important part of that. Terra allows for space for players to make jokes and have fun (in or out of character). In my last game 2 players (myself included) had dreams. Not only were they eerie and fun to listen to but there is so much detail. It feels like there are many clues hidden in plain sight. I cannot wait for the next one. I just feel comfortable playing in Terra's games. People are taken care of and it's a safe space.
