This Storyteller/Dungeon Master is skilled at handling a table full of excited players without excluding anyone. He keeps things interesting with his pacing, and is ready to improvise almost any scene anyone could imagine. If you're looking for a fun vtm game, hit him up.
Let me tell you one thing, as someone who's gone through DMs and campaigns that have been both underwhelming and straight up miserable, you CANNOT go wrong with DM Jarpo. This guy not only really gets into each character's voice and actions, they make it fun. I have yet to have someone so exciting to play for, someone so inspiring to really play your character, work out their every action. This was what I consider, in my very short time playing DnD (But having played in over a half dozen campaigns), the very best experience I've had. The combats were scary and life-threatening but not overwhelming. It really drove in that "Oh god I could die, but if so it's fun!" Every moment of looking around led to "huh, thats horrifying. Huh, a chest. Lets open it. Oh good god scary ghost in my head!" In a way that really just inspired me to get into the character and have the best time I've ever had. We finished the session with a Skill Challenge, something that I hadn't done. It was riveting, and we rolled well enough to succeed relatively easily, but oh man the setting was just phenomenal. I felt like it truly was a fight or flight situation, that if I rolled bad, this was gonna get ugly. My heart was pounding out of excitement, it was simply phenomenal, dare I say Masterful. Don't be scared to give this DM a shot, it's absolutely worth it.
I currently play in 2, soon to be 3 games with CJ. Wildmounte explorers, An A5e pirate game, and soon to be Witchlight. I clearly enjoy playing with this DM. He works hard to establish scenes, his storytelling is excellent, and his combats are hard but fair. His style leans towards tactical combats over puzzles. He is open to incorporating some backstory elements for characters. The way he handles roleplays is fun, he's good at improvising. For example, one of my character's has a semi sentient magical weapon, to have fun with this, my character often talks to the weapon, using her vibes to understand him. This has led for some funny banter with a scythe that *really* hates his pocket form. Overall his experience shows.
Nexus is incredibly fun to play with. As a literal first-time dnd player, some moments may be Trial by Fire, but it's been an exceptional learning experience. His storytelling is compelling, his roleplaying is funny at times, and once you are in the groove, he's an exceptionally fun person to host your story.
