Lifelong nerd, I rekindled my fervor for TTRPGs after moving back to the US from China. With a desire for unique narratives and heavy roleplay, I embarked on a life-changing decision to start DMing as a hobby. After 3 years of honing my craft I brought my passions to twitch by joining the Fabled42 network and decided to make it a profession.

How DM Jarpo runs games
With theatrical experience as my background, character acting and improv are my greatest strengths. I take pride in the voices I can do and actively work to raise the bar with both narration and sound effects, in and out of combat. Rule of cool takes the driver's seat here over RAW and you can expect vivid descriptions of anything and everything. I love to set the atmosphere just right for each game according to the players' preference. If the table wants dark, I'll give ya dark. If you want gore, I'll bring a tub of blood. If you want light-hearted fantasy, I can do that, too. Mood setting is my specialty! I'm also quite comfortable with either theatre of the mind or grid-based combat.
