Queen Mother is defiantly royalty when it comes to the quality of GMs I have played with. She paints the scenery with wonderful descriptions and sets the tone through the emotion carried in her easy to listen to voice. She brings the characters along for the ride by tying in backstory elements and asking for character reactions/thoughts keeping you constantly in character and part of her story. She encourages scenes and storytelling but knows how to read the room and keep the game moving forwards. She roles with her players ideas, I remember one game where the druid setup a free medical clinic in a tavern so the party could casually interrogate the town for information. She was ready with more NPCs with ailments and story than we expected for that cleaver move.
