The world he built for this game is fun, interesting and creative. Maybe the DMb is better with game systems he actually enjoys, but he decided to try daggerheart, decided he didn't like it, and made a point of complaining about the system regularly. He also world just not be there during games. We'd be discussing what we want to do, or make a roll he asked for, and he'd just but be there. We'd call out to him, and nothing. He's suddenly be back, no explanation. Act like nothing happened, and start saying what happens next, and we'd have to stop him to retell him what we wanted to do, or ask us to make the roll we already made, etc. It felt like he just had more interesting things to do, then suddenly remember he's supposed to be running our game. Between sessions he's not answering messages. I've tried direct messaging on both stay playing, and discord, along with tagging him in chats. I'd have to tell him I messaged him in game for him to even look at it. We came in mid game so I tried to discuss our characters and how they fit into the world, but never got a response. I honestly don't think he even knows our backstory,in a game made to have our backstories help build the world.

William has been very accommodating for us. We have a difficult time creating a time frame to do this game and he's been very flexible and accommodating to make the game happen. He took my back story, and in just a couple days created a game around my characters main goal. It was fun and fascinating. He has been creating characters on the spot, as we go to new parts of his world. They are interesting, and have a surprising amount of debth, considering he created them on the fly. When asking to get things he is fair, allowing us to get some things to help us in our mission, but not afraid to say no to something he feels is to powerful for our level. We kinda derailed things a bit going to find things we wanted for the upcoming battle, and ran out of time for the big battle, and can't wait to book another session to go into that battle. Despite that we did enjoy a different battle and plenty of fun interactions during our session. Give him a try, I am sure you'll have fun
