About me

I've been playing D&D for two years and I'm hopelessly addicted. I love the escape into all the adventures, the stories we build as a collective, and the role-play of my character. I especially love learning about my character, their motivations, fears, weaknesses, strengths, and quirks - all through the fabric that's woven by the DM, the other characters, and what's set before us. I prefer to do things that serve the story and our character's. I'm not a fan of running into every single room when there's 100 rooms, collecting treasure, or purposely touching stuff just to start a "Roll for Initiative!" so we get our butts handed to us, just to earn XP to Level up. I'm an improvisor, magician, actress, writer, ballroom dancer, and by day, I'm a self-employed management consultant. A three-legged cat rules over me and I do his bidding here in Redondo Beach, California. Campaigns played: 90 Days - love Monster of the Week - it's ok Tomb of Annihilation - love Spelljammer - love Icewind Dale - TBD!

Played "Ten Candles" for the first time and Proto / Erin was an excellent guide to take us on our journey. Proto set the stage and set us loose to writing our collective story (and letting the dice do their job too). What an emotional roller coaster - uncertainty, bravery, fear, betrayal, loss, redemption, love - all wrapped up in a backdrop of delightful horror.

I highly recommend Chris, as he will work with you to create the experience you want. I was a complete newbie (and a skeptic to start) to D&D a few years ago, and Chris has me completely hooked to the game. He is every players dream of a GM. He is over-the-top considerate, as he takes the time to help you with every question or concern (from building your character, to rules, to game play, to style, to combat, to storytelling, to, everything). He understands that everyone's style may not be the same and works to ensure that we don't get in our own way to having fun. Chris is also a pro when it comes to storytelling and has a grab bag of characters and voices that are crazy entertaining. His maps are insanely detailed and a blast to explore. His style is highly adaptable and if I could play in every game he leads, I would. You will be so glad you chose Chris. It's a Nat-20 with Chris at the helm.
