I cannot believe that in four months it will be four years since I started adventuring with DM Rah and I have absolutely no desire to play D&D with a different DM from StartPlaying. When I first joined his “The Wild beyond the Witchlight” session zero, I was a bit anxious as I had only played D&D with family and close friends and not for long so I did not know the rules well. However, Rah made me feel welcome from the start and has always been very patient with me and other first time players so I would totally recommend him if this is your first time joining a D&D game. He is always punctual, has a deep understanding of the rules and is very proficient at using Roll20 and Discord during game play. Furthermore, DM Rah is a great storyteller who comes up with really fun ideas and conversations on the fly and tries his best to incorporate characters’ backstories into the storyline. He also shares all his DnDBeyond content with players who do not own what they need to bring their character’s idea to life. Therefore, you only need to create free accounts for DnDBeyond, Roll20 and Discord to join his games. Rah has managed to assemble an incredible community of welcoming, friendly and helpful players, and I continue to look forward to joining him and them in further campaigns. We’ve just started “Call of the Netherdeep” but I’ve played several oneshots and completed the following campaigns: “The Wild beyond the Witchlight”, “The House of Lament”, “The Radiant Spelljammer” (DM Rah’s smash up of “The Radiant Citadel” and “Spelljammer”), “Death House” and “Planescape: Turn of Fortune’s Wheel”, all with almost the same group I started with. So I feel blessed to have stumbled upon his page on my first time looking at joining a D&D campaign here at Starplaying, as during the week all I think about is "Is it Friday yet?" 😊 So do not hesitate to give DM Rah a chance, you will not be disappointed!
