What distinguishes Ben is his remarkable receptiveness to player input, weaving our personal storylines into the broader tapestry while maintaining the adventure's momentum and insisting on proper pace. His meticulous preparation and expertise with our VTT create a seamless experience that allows both imagination and wargaming strategy to flourish. Perhaps most endearing is his patience with newcomers to the game, fostering an atmosphere where creativity and exploration are encouraged, while still maintaining epic tier challenge for experienced players. For anyone seeking a DM who balances strategic depth with storytelling prowess, Ben stands as a paragon of what makes story+tactics in gaming so captivating.

Cam has a high end blend of empathy, intelligence, creativity and knowledge of the rules. He leaves space for everyone and senses when to take DM space and move things along to keep the pace and rhythm. Kind and patient, but also challenging. Love playing with him and highly recommend.

Fingers is creative and original, but she can also can get crunchy and is amazing at managing even large combats -- she's flexible to whatever style each player and table prefers. Having played with many DMs over many years, I've found her manner and approach to be my favorite. Fingers also brings great game designer skills, as illustrated by a wealth of available optional homebrews. She's also adept at managing very advanced veteran players alongside patiently teaching those completely new to 5e. Far but firm, challenging but kind and naturally very witty. Very highly recommended.

Roxas sets a great tone and mood for storytelling, lots of attention to voice, visuals, and musical ambience. The games have some high-level effects and virtual tabletop tactical play, but Roxas also has a sense for pulling things into Theatre of the Mind when it helps with the pace. Roxas does a good job of pulling in players of diverse personalities and backgrounds and helping them all participate inclusively. I think Roxas would be great for walking new players through the basics, but is also great at presenting a high-quality game for the more experienced. Extra points for total commitment to good NPC voice acting!

Very thoughtful, creative, fun DM who pays great attention to each individual character's motives, needs, and backstory connections while building the overall story! Very warm and patient while still keeping things on track and ensuring a good pace, and very open-minded and collaborative about creative character ideas while still refereeing the rules effectively and with great knowledge of the game.
