Will is a fun DM - very chill, and helpful for newer players. Rolls with creative ideas but knows the rules enough to keep it grounded.

- Paul is legit a pro GM - you can expect character voices, maps, music, RP opportunities - he manages things very well so that as a player you feel placed in the scene. - The rest of these points are going to really just be cascading off this one: Paul CARES about his players. A lot. - He wants us to have fun. If there's a part of the game someone is not enjoying, he'll talk with you about it and look for a solution that everyone is comfortable with. - He wants us to feel comfortable at the table, period. Our group is lgbt+, neurospicy, and Paul has created a game space that's welcoming for all of us. - Our group is also diverse in terms of playstyle, from very mechanically minded, to caring about RP above all else. Our game with Paul fits everyone - combat is tough, and our mechanically minded players come in clutch, keeping us alive and prepped for whatever is coming up next. There's also time and room for RP -- including hooks from backstories, and some hooks designed specifically to try to draw out the quieter players at the table. Our characters are growing, developing, and I'm super curious to see where it goes next. - Speaking of next, as a result of all of the above, I've met some pretty fantastic fellow players, and I'm actually looking forward to the end of our current story, cause we're already talking about our next campaign after this one, with Paul as GM.

Great game! Very creative GM and lots of improv - the one-off game had a sandbox feel, which was a lot of fun, and it still built into a great story arc
