How William runs games
My foremost objective with adventures is to create scenarios that have the players craft relationships with both the others at the table as well as within the game world. Factions in some form, even if minor, are almost always present in my games and I pay close attention to the players interactions with these groups to see how they will be rewarded (or ambushed) for their efforts. I also like to keep track of individual NPC's that the party grows fond of throughout the game. For both faction and NPC relationships, their consequences will be felt mechanically and in the story. I get a lot of joy from creating unique, dynamic encounters that dont need to always be solved by combat (though smashing is fun). I will tweak a lot of monster statblocks to be more action-oriented, as well as create homebrew monsters.

William's ideal table
The vibe of my table is adventurous and somewhat silly, though all comedy needs good drama to back it up. Players that will shout insults at their opponents during combat and try to think outside of their character sheet to solve problems will be at home here.
