Finished Hoard of the Dragon Queen with Darren this week. Darren was a great DM for this campaign, very straightforward and kept the action moving. Combat is fun and he pulls no punches so bring your A game. He goes out of his way to keep everyone involved and engaged. I played on Roll 20 and he has most (all?) of the books so just about everything you need is going to be in the library and leveling up or adding feats and gear is easy.

Chris is awesome. I recently finished a nearly two year campaign and played another short campaign with him over the summer. He is a great actor and roleplayer, brings life to characters and really works to incorporate your character backstory into the major story elements. The campaign has a good balance of combat and non-combat and he has a thorough understanding of the game and the mechanics.

Played 1 session with Jaana so far. She is a great DM. She does a good job setting the scene and describing what is happening. Her virtual tabletop is pretty advanced, which to me means she has put a lot of time into building it. She is also VERY well prepared, I have been a PnP DM and I know how difficult it is to have everything down or memorized in a big campaign. I had a blast in my first session, it is among the best first sessions I have had as a player in 40 years of playing D&D.
