I played in Alex's campaign for well over a year, and I had a blast! He is a terrific story teller and world builder. The game sessions were lively and fun, and Alex gives plenty of scope for player creativity. We genuinely were able to affect the world and to move the levers of fate. It was exactly what I imagined Fantasy Role Playing to be!
I have played D&D since the very first edition back in the late 1970's on both sides of the DM screen. Jacob does an outstanding job of bringing the world to life using the greatest Virtual Reality Simulator ever created: the human mind. I have come out of a couple of his sessions physically exhausted as if I were a character in an adventure novel, and I have had to remind myself that it is "only a game". Mechanically, Jacob manages the ebb and flow of action very well - which can be challenging with 6 players. Combat runs very smoothly. He knows the rules very well and is able to handle all the odd things we try to do in the game. The narrative unfolds seamlessly as if it were written in a book, and the immersion in the story is very nearly total. I highly recommend Jacob as a Dungeon Master for any group.
Bee's NPC's are fun and memorable. Her artwork for maps, scenes and characters are creative and vivid. She keeps the sessions running smoothly. Above all, she creates a great environment for total immersion in the story with sounds, music and voices. I recommend her highly as a GM.
