I had a blast playing with Kel as a GM! I've never done a text based game before and it was really fun. He directed the session skillfully and in an entertaining way. I personally found it easier to get in the mind of my character over text. I get nervous improving, especially with strangers, and found it easier to be creative on the fly in a game based over text. I would HIGHLY recommend playing with Kel :)

A quiet year is free form and highly narrative. Josh did an amazing job encouraging the group and guiding us in the story we created. Some of us were new to gaming and he made it easy to understand the rules and the flow of the game. He helped make it feel as if we were all already friends despite the fact some of us were total strangers. He was highly encouraging and made it easy to open up and be creative in a collaborative way with people I had never gamed with before.

Brayden is great! I'm new to the hobby and he has been a phenomenal introduction to playing RPGs. He is an incredible story teller! It's easy to get lost in the story in the way he GMs. From the voices and descriptions of the environment it has been an incredibly fun way to learn. Even though I don't exactly know what I'm doing I never feel that way while playing with him. He's great at keeping the players engaged and collaboratively shaping the world around us. Being new to RPGs in general I assumed I'd feel awkward role playing with strangers on the internet but Brayden has been wonderful in guiding me and prompting me to be fully engaged in role playing. Even when all I give him is "I'll shoot the thing". He takes that and turns it into a truly immersive experience. The NPCs in his game are amazing. From the voices to the descriptions he gives, it's almost like talking with the other fully developed player characters. He adds depth to every NPC and every environment we enter. In addition, we also have some much more experienced players too and it's amazing to see how he encourages them to be creative and play off of each other. He has been so inspiring and I can't wait to keep playing and play more games with him as GM. HIGHLY recommend him :)
