Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Alex and I'm excited to hopefully play with you. I have been playing D&D since I was a kid, picked up GMing a few years ago, and have recently explored other systems such as Lancer and Avatar: Legends. I am very inclusive to newbies, queer people, disabled people, etc and will make sure my game meets your needs. I am currently saving up money to enter a PhD program so that I can become a university professor one day. GM Style
I run my games more on the "rule of cool" because I want to make sure you have a great time, get a good laugh in, and enjoy the creativity TTRPGs allow for. I like a good mix of roleplay and combat, and will do many (really bad) character voices. However, if you want me to change up my style and focus more or less on something, I'm happy to do so!

They were very descriptive and ensured that each player got to be included equally. Lots of fun world building and independence while also having a storyline.

Alex was a great DM. I have not played DND much before, so they were really helpful at explaining any in-game mechanics I had questions about. We used an integrated system with Roll20 and DNDBeyond for the game, which made all the dice rolls and keeping track of player stats really easy. We played with a relatively large group- 5 players, and Alex did a great job of coordinating between us and making sure quieter players still had time to speak up and interact in the game.

Alex was a fantastic and patient GM, who put a lot of work into assembling a comprehensive one-shot that me and my group had a great time with. They have a great talent for pacing and there were several hilarious story beats and combat on that line between perfect chaos and clever tension. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing self-contained game and even first time players :)
