About me
Hi there! I'm Void (also known as Aspen). I've been a GM for about 8 years at the time of writing this. While most of my experience with GMing lies with D&D 5e (pre-OGL debacle), I have been branching out into many other systems after the aforementioned debacle. From Pathfinder 2e to Avatar Legends, I try to run and play as many systems as I can get my hands on! In my spare time I enjoy working on my homebrew high fantasy setting of Eirlysia, which is where all of my Pathfinder campaigns take place. I'm also fond of gaming, mostly in the Nintendo sphere of things, watching various shows, listening to all kinds of music, and I run a small Discord community dedicated to TTRPGs.
GM Style
As a Game Master I enjoy a solid distribution between the various facets of a TTRPG, variety is the spice of life after all. I have a love for crunchy tactical combat, inter-party roleplay, and making the party's lives difficult. Expect dramatic reveals, one-on-one scenes, and engaging combat to boot. I also love playing around with music, villains have theme songs, combat music changes as it gets dire/curbstomping, and breaks are accompanied by relaxing lo-fi. My weird voices are plenty, though they are more recently accompanied by an array of voice cracks due to my transition. I'm still getting used to this deeper register, but that won't stop me from trying!

Inclusive
Creativity
Knows the Rules
I've been playing in several of Void's games for a couple of years now, and it's been great. Void is an allround great gm who can craft a fun and interesting narrative, throw a butt-clenchingly tense combat as well as roleplay a very funny kobold. Don't play a warlock, your backstory will come back to haunt you.
Very good and fun way of taking the beginner box and adding to it, also very strong and interesting worldbuilding that allows ample room for player creativity. Great balance of RP, Combat and exploration. Ample room for party shenanigans depending on the campaign and great worldbuilding and preparation for campaigns
This dm is really all about creating nice atmosphere for anyone involved. Goes all the way to make sure that players get to do what they want to do, most of the time even within the rulebook. But sometimes adding little things that just make playing a role-playing so much fun and a unique experience every time.
As a GM, Void gave us, as players, a lot of creative freedom to really push the boundaries of what our characters could do, without holding us back. He was flexible and created a friendly and inclusive environment in which I felt comfortable as someone who didn't know anyone I was playing with yet.
I played a 3 year long homebrew campaign that finished. Due to the GM's rules the players were basically always there and there were rarely any long gaps between sessions. The summary system we used also made sure we always had session summaries so everyone was always caught up on what was going on. The world itself was pretty well built and the GM has only gotten better at that (I will be playing in another homebrew where the world looks even better). There was a world map and every city on the map that we visited had a clear and good looking city map (I especially liked one at a lake). The NPC's were interesting and in some cases wacky (in a good way, love our little Kobold potion seller). When it comes to helping players this GM is absolutely amazing. They helped me get a half working character fully working in a way that I liked and they helped another player completely revamp a character so it worked better in combat without losing any of the character flavour. The combat was always challenging but possible, giving the right decisions and a little luck with the rolls. Great for when you're into overcoming difficult challenges. The roleplay and character backstory interaction were fantastic. This GM will bully your character or have them experience some beautiful moments, depending on the tone of the campaign and the player decisions. I've thoroughly enjoyed the bullying of my own character and some others. (By bullying I mean having them experience difficult choices and situations, but also heartwrenching events related to their backstory or earlier happenings in the campaign. Very positive imo) All in all a great GM for both experienced and and starting players. This GM will have you experience many different emotions, will always make sure you know your character and how to use them in combat, will put a lot of effort into their work and will generally make sure you have a great time.
